Essie nail polish

Hy there!

I'm sure you've all noticed everyone talking about Essie nail polishes. I see pictures of these on instagram, weheart it and blogs daily. I really wanted to give them a try and guess what - yesterday I bought 2 nail polishes for the prize of one. I really thought these polishes were special and I would be amazed by their look, but I've gotta be honest with you guys, I am not impressed.

I bought the mademoiselle and sand tropez shade.

I applied 3 coats of mademoiselle and 2 coats of sand tropez. I can barely tell that I am wearing any of mademoiselle polish. I really thought the color would be more intensive, as it appeared from the bottle. I guess I would have to use this one as a top coat only. Regarding the sand tropez, for better appearance, I think I would apply 3 coats as well.

All in all, I do not know whether I just picked the wrong shades or what but in my opinion, I do not think these 2 polishes are worth their prize (a little less than 10 € for each without any discount). Even so the brush is very nice - it paints your nails perfectly. And I really like the bottle, too.

Maybelline - The rocket volum' express mascara review

 Hello there!

I've been searching for the right mascara for years now. I really want one that gives you volume, length and a curl at the same time (yes, I am demanding, I know :P). I am constantly using 2 to 3 mascaras, because I am not satisfied with the result of a single use of any of those. Yesterday I bought myself  Maybelline - The rocket volum' express mascara. I've decided to buy this one, because I watched many youtube videos about it and it seemed perfect. Now that I had a chance to test it on myself, I'm not sure how I feel about it anymore.

This mascara has a jet-glide brush and it claims that it gives you a massive volume and is clump-free.

I agree that it gives you volume, but somehow it glues some of your lashes together. So, instead of 5 normal lashes, you have big fat giant one. Mascara is clump-free and it lengthens your lashes. 

I would still have to use eyelash curler, because it gives my eyes a much better look. I do not hate this mascara, I am just not buying it again. 

Tell me what you think if you own it or which mascara is your all-time favourite.

Don't let it break you ...

I'm not really sure how am I going to write this post yet, because I actually don't know how to put my emotions into words. There are times when you just get disappointed. By life, by the choices you make, by people who are really close to you ... Suddenly everything gets difficult and you remain unenlightened.

You feel lost, you don't know who you are anymore, who you can trust and who you can rely on. You feel like everyone is better than you and that no one really enjoys spending time with you. All you want to do is lay in bed and wait for those happy days which seem so hard to find.

But then again, WHO is going to change your life, your thoughts and expectations? People you thought you could trust? Life itself? That person you actually don't want to be? No. The only one that can change anything about your life is you. You have to have that purpose in your life which leads you to happiness, happy moments, happy people and happy life. And you have to stick to it no matter what. Don’t let those rainy depressing days take that away from you. Be strong and even if right now you are not the person you want to be later in life, always remember that you can always change. You just have to try harder and get yourself back together every time you fail so that when you will look back one day, you will be able to proudly say to yourself: “I did it.”
